Business Immigration
Visas and Change of Status for international businessmen, managers, and specialists who start up corporate branches in the U.S. (L-1). Temporary work visas (H-1B, H-2B, O-1, and others). Trader visas (E-1) and investor visas (E-2) for nationals of the qualifying countries. Employment-based Green Cards with or without Perm Labor Certification and with or without job offers, depending on the classification.
Deportation Defense
Deportation Hearings and Appeals in Immigration Courts, Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA) and Federal Courts. Cooperation with criminal lawyers to avoid deportation consequences. Legal representation of arrested aliens and Permanent Residents in ports of entry.
Marriage-based Green Cards
Visas for Fiancé/Fiancée (K-1) and Spouses (K-3). Removal of conditional permanent residence status after one year and nine months (including before, during and after divorce/separation). Filing for Green Card according to the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA). Guidance and attendance at Adjustment of Status and naturalization interviews.
Political Asylum
Persecution or a well-founded fear of persecution on account of race, religion, nationality, membership in a particular social group, or political opinion. Cooperation with experts on geopolitical situation in different countries.
Visa Applications
Preparation of visa application to American Consulates. Compliance with the requirement of section 214(b) INA (before and after visa denial). Filing of criminal and unlawful presence waivers.
Tourist and Student Visas
Processing and extension of Tourist (B-1/B-2) and Student (F-1, J-1, M-1) visas. Compliance with SEVIS requirements and coordination with Academic International Offices. Filing for J-1 waivers (including physicians).
